SLAA invites you to our Fall ArtFest 2025 where we will be presenting an art show featuring members of the association. On display will be artwork in many mediums: oil, acrylic, watercolor, ceramics, and photography to name a few. Plus a large selection of prints and greeting cards. There will be an Art Activity Table for kids of all ages and members will be doing live demonstrations of various techniques for the visitors’ enjoyment.

SLAA will also be having a fundraising drawing to fund our two Art Awards: The Dorothy Cunningham Art Award and The Jane Tsushima Art Award. Members will be donating artwork and local business will contribute to the items available for the drawings.

Interested in Local Bay Area Art Happenings?

SLAA member, Bridgit Lawley, culls the web for information about art events in the San Francisco Bay Area with a focus on the East Bay museums and galleries. Approximately once a month she sends out an email-distillation of the information she has tracked down. An example is to the right. Included with each event notification is a link to a deep dive Blog with information about the artists and/or show. Very entertaining and informational!
