SLAA Gives Back to the Community
Part of our mission is to support art in our community. One way we do this is by offering art demonstrations, which are free to the community, at our monthly meetings. We pay artists to demonstrate their skills in various mediums. During the Pandemic times we have switched to video demonstration but share the link to anyone interested. We also fund two grants for teachers and students. All of this takes money but it goes directly to the community in various forms.
