We’re hosting a free art class at the San Leandro Senior Center! The class is for adults and will be led by demo favorite, Sandra Jones. Sandra will be conducting a three-hour class on the construction of a face using pencil and charcoal. This class is designed for any skill level and will include a step-by-step handout that students may refer to during the class and bring home along with their completed projects. By learning simple techniques for creating realistic eyes, nose, mouth and brows, in conjunction with a defined scaffolding, each student will create a unique, imaginary lifelike face - and discover that portraiture is nothing to fear!
